1 night & 2 day Sailing Expedition - Angra to Angra
A sample of a typical one-night, two-day sail from Angra and returning to Angra would take a slightly different route exploring the highlights of Ilha Grande and its stunning beaches. This would suit guests not planning on exploring Paraty but could be a great add on to time spent in Rio.
Your boat would depart Angra in the afternoon toward Ilha Grande island, sitting down to a delicious light lunch on deck, the wind will take you towards Saco do Ceu or Praia de Baixo. Arrive late afternoon to a palm-fringed deserted beach for sunset drinks and appetizers. Swim in the ocean, feel the sand beneath your feet and unwind until dinner is served on board, followed by some star-gazing on board before bedding down for the night in your cabin.
Wake in the morning to the sunrise setting sail towards Enseada das Palmas where you'll hike to spectacular Lopez Mendes Beach, voted in the top ten most jaw-droppingly beautiful beaches in the world. Sugar-white sands, jade-green water and three kilometres of Atlantic rainforest make this a true paradise. There are a few locals renting surf boards here, and the odd coconut seller - it is a dreamy place to stroll along the beach, swim or even catch a wave surfing. In the afternoon, there's the option to take part in a yoga, meditation session to unwind and take a guided snorkelling trip to spot tropical fish and rays. In the afternoon, return to Angra dos Reis.
