It was home to the second largest library in the ancient world, the steep Theatre of Anatolia, the monumental Altar of Zeus, and the Roman Medical Center ruins of Asclepion. Ascend the Acropolis by cable car, then walk back down via the gymnasium situated on the lower terraces of the lower Agora.
