The full-day Gurung Village Walk (6 to 8 hours) starts from Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge and goes through village of Kalikathan (named after the Hindu Goddess Kali). With beautiful forest on your left side, the trail leads to Thulaswor, a Gurung village. Gurungs are one of the many ethnic groups in Nepal and known to be resilient mountain people. Many of them serve in the Nepali, Indian and British Armies' Gurkha regiments. You will be able to experience their lifestyle and culture in the village. Walk downhill to the bank of Bijaypur River before walking back with a 300m ascent to the ridgeline and then back to the lodge.
