I absolutely loved Villa Inle, it was my favourite property on the lake as there are only 27 villas, with lovely high ceilings and a spacious feel. The restaurant had quite a buzzy atmosphere as well.

This is undoubtedly one of my favourite properties in Inle Lake. From the gorgeous arrival up a winding lake tributary (when the water is low), to the beautiful views over the rice fields, greenery and lake beyond, this property has a totally tranquil and exclusive feel. I visited Inle during the hottest month and the water was very low, so the lake would be closer to the property during the cooler months. The villas are either lake view or garden view and I would say it is definitely worth going for the lake view, although these do get booked up very early. From your lake view villa you enjoy a beautiful decking area overlooking the lake and the mountains beyond. The villa ceilings are high, making the rooms light and airy and the bathrooms are exquisite. It is a small property so booking early in high season is advisable.
