Sedona Mandalay is a large hotel, with great views of Mandalay Palace. It is primarily a business hotel, so the decor is neutral and it has all the facilities you would expect of an international hotel. It was refurbished a couple of years ago and has a fantastic large swimming pool which is a great place to relax. As a large hotel, it does lack character but the rooms are very comfortable so it is a great base for sightseeing in the surrounding area.

Clare Monro (Staff)

The Sedona has recently been refurbished so the interiors are much more tasteful than they used to be. The hotel has a fantastically central location, and a huge swimming pool! The hotel does feel quite large and international, which may not be to everyone's taste, but it provides a great base for exploring the area.

Sarah Baxter (Staff)

There are really two options for larger hotels in Mandalay and Sedona is my favourite of these. The bigger hotels are definitely a safer bet than the more boutique options in Mandalay as they are targeted at an international market. However they may feel less personal and more hotely. The decor is less ornate here than at Mandalay Hill and the newly renovated rooms are nicely done. The pool area is fantastic and the whole place has a lovely atmosphere to it, making it easy to relax and switch off.

Sophie Jones (Staff)

The Sedona has such a great feel to it with a real sense of place with the beautiful Myanmar touches throughout the hotel. The highlights here for me were definitely the fantastic pool and fully equipped pool bar, the views over the Mandalay Palace and delicious dinner we had at the Shwe Li restaurant which was just superb. Also with its central location all the handicraft stalls and cultural sites such as the Shwenandaw Monastery and Mahamuni Pagoda are very easily accessible.
