The Deluxe Mayfair suites form an elegant portfolio, each suite overlooking the magnificent streets of surrounding Mayfair or the quiet calm of Brook’s Mews. Showcasing a breadth of design, guests can choose from suites that reflect a more traditional style through to those rooms anchored in Claridge’s iconic art deco interior. The Mivart collection features a strikingly beautiful portfolio of suites. Enter the Victorian Davies Penthouse through a pair of magnificent rosewood and brass doors to a small bar area, ideal for welcoming guests. Experience the style and distinction of the 19th century with a large original fireplace, marble fixtures, wooden floors, a barrel-vaulted ceiling studded with lights and contemporary oil paintings on sunflower yellow walls. French windows also open onto a stunning terrace overlooking the rooftops of London. The Davies Penthouse is a perfect example of one of London's finest penthouses.
Designed by Veere Grenney, this elegant art deco-style penthouse apartment is decorated in gentle lilac with light oak floors and the trompe l’oeil effect on granite painted pillars. Inspired by 1930s' style to include purple furniture with cream, Greeney has also incorporated the more modern, predominantly French furniture with the traditional furnishings to achieve a clear idiosyncratic blend of old and new furnishings from the period. Lastly this spectacular London penthouse is complemented by a large furnished terrace which holds some of the best rooftop views that London has to offer.
Recently refurbished, this is a two-bedroom suite truly fit for royalty. Enter the Royal Suite’s dramatic red reception hall and feel momentarily transported to the grandeur of the Victorian Age. Magnificent double doors lead to the dining room where 10 can be seated for dinner surrounded by captivating 19th Century French architectural prints. When to go
It is very difficult to predict the weather in the United Kingdom - in the summer from May to late September is generally seen as the most pleasant time to visit. Rainfall is difficult to predict - but the UK does not receive as much as many are led to believe! In the winters, temperatures do fall, but there is nothing better than finding a pub with a roaring fire to sit beside after a long walk.
