A small group mobile safari (there are never more than six participants) is one of the most adventurous and exciting ways to explore Botswana's amazing wildlife reserves and witness incredible wildlife sightings. Game drives take place in open 4x4 vehicles where every guest has a window seat, but there are plenty more activities besides this. Get out on foot on a walking safari for the chance to appreciate the smaller aspects of the bush and learn the art of tracking animals, or take to the waters of the Okavango Delta on a boat cruise or in a mokoro (traditional dug out canoe).
The beauty of traveling in a small group is that the safari can be entirely tailored to the group's interests and requirements. The continuity of having the same guide means that you can build on your experiences throughout the safari. Accommodation is provided in en-suite walk-in tents with proper beds, high quality bed linen, separate loo and hot bucket shower. The safari is fully-serviced meaning that in addition to having your private guide you have a full complement of camp staff including chefs, a housekeeper and butler, who deliver the renowned &Beyond levels of service.
A maximum of three spacious expedition dome tents measuring 4 meters x 4 meters complete with comfortable beds with high-quality linens and an en-suite bathroom measuring 3 meters x 3 meters with separate loo and hot bucket shower. Please note that the wilderness experience on offer means that there is no electricity in mobile camps, but camera batteries and phones can be charged on the safari vehicle.
