Trekking on Sumba from Nihii Sumba Island
The landscape of Sumba is a joy to explore and Nihi Sumba Island offers trekking routes to many of its most beautiful spots where guests can have a well-deserved lunch under a waterfall, between private beaches or overlooking verdant rice paddies.
Guests at Nihi Sumba Island can trek for 90-minutes to the Blue Waterfall, descending through the national park to a blue lagoon beneath the falls, surrounded by magnificent 300m cliffs and a great place to cool off after the walk and enjoy a private picnic.
Nihioka valley is a two-hour trek (departing at 6:30am) where guests explore thick palm tree jungle and local settlements lead to cascading rice paddy fields.
End with a beach view breakfast before heading back to your villa to relax.
