Enjoying a peaceful setting amidst 56 acres of secluded forest, this luxury glamping site sits just 40 minutes from the southern rim of America's Grand Canyon, providing a fantastic gateway to canyon adventures and a perfect base for a comfortable night's sleep. There is no need to sacrifice creature comforts here, with wood-burning stoves, high thread-count bedding and sumptuous king-size beds provided in most tents, along with private ensuite bathrooms, roll top baths and private deck areas for sitting out and admiring the night sky. Children are certainly not forgotten as most tents have the option to add additional camping beds or even an adjoining tepee complete with camping beds, chairs and plenty of blankets and warm bedding.
Meals can be arranged the day before so a plentiful breakfast or lunch can be ready to collect before heading out on your adventures the following day. For those wishing to truly get into the camping spirit, the attentive staff can arrange to have BBQ ingredients delivered to be cooked at your tent. The nearby town of Williams is also home to numerous stores and restaurants if you want to pick up your own ingredients or enjoy a slightly more formal dining experience.
A stay here is all about being outdoors and there is plenty to keep you active with the dramatic landscapes providing an exhilarating playground. Spend days rafting along white water rivers, riding along trails on horseback, speeding through the treetops by zip line, exploring underground caverns and hiking amongst the impressive geological formation of the grand Canyon itself. Helicopter flights can also be arranged to admire the spectacular scenery from above, whilst those who prefer to stay at ground level can embark on a relaxing train journey right up to the southern rim or even head out by jeep for a sunset safari tour.
Accommodation at the Grand Canyon Camp is in luxurious, safari-style tents, many complete with wood burning stoves and private bathrooms. Adjacent tepees can also be found alongside most tent categories to allow families a little privacy.
The suite tent is a great option for families or couples, sleeping up to four guests and complete with a private ensuite with shower, sink, flushing toilet and roll top bath. As well as a bedroom wing with king size bed there is a lounge area with queen size sofa bed and a private deck from which to admire the stars.
The Deluxe tents sleep up to four guests and each boast a private ensuite and wood burning stove. There are private decks from which to admire the night sky and luxurious linens provided so you can keep cosy.
The large safari-style tents are furnished with a king-size bed and camp beds and bedding can be provided for up to two children. Shared bathroom facilities are provided a short distance from these tents. Safari Tents can also be furnished with 4 twin beds, ideal for friends travelling together or for families.
The Stargazer tents boast large skylight windows so you can enjoy the stars straight from the comfort of your king size bed. Each has a private ensuite bathroom complete with shower, sink and flushing toilet. They also come with a wood burning stove and outside deck.
Additional beds can be added into most tents to accommodate children or separate tepees can be set up next to most other tent categories to allow a little more privacy. The camp offers numerous child friendly activities in the Grand Canyon National Park including horse riding and river rafting.
All meals can be provided at the camp, with breakfast and lunch available to order the day before so you can collect it before heading out on your adventures the following morning. If you wish to BBQ whilst camping then provisions can be delivered to create fresh and tasty treats. The town of Williams is nearby with numerous dining options and stores.
A stay at the camp is completely customisable with plenty of exhilarating activities available in the Grand Canyon National Park including river rafting, trekking, horse riding, ziplining, mountain biking, hiking and jeep safari tours. Guests can also enjoy scenic helicopter flights over the canyon or a train journey to the southern rim passing dramatic sweeping desert landscapes.

How to get there
Fly to Phoenix or Las Vegas (approx. 11 hours). To reach the camp from Phoenix it's a 2-hour 30-minute drive, and from Las Vegas it's a 3-hour 15-minute drive.
