With just 65 rooms the hotel feels friendly and welcoming, with sociable public spaces and a picturesque courtyard garden.

The rooms and suites are undeniably elegant, with a nod to Art Deco design combined with contemporary, sleek lines and modern technologies. Frette linens and bathrobes, organic bath products and cloud-like mattresses create an indulgent retreat after a day of strolling Boston’s beautiful streets while large windows retain a connection to the buzz of the city yet cocoon you in the comfort of the room. Featuring a contemporary take on classic Italian dishes, the hotel’s restaurant, Peregrine, is helmed by two of Boston’s favourite restaurateurs and draws inspiration from Sardinia, Sicily, Corsica and Catalonia in seasonally relevant dishes. Stop for coffee and a moreish pastry at Tatte and stroll on towards the green lawns and tranquil ponds of the Public Gardens. Indulge in some retail therapy on nearby Newbury Street and trace the beginnings of the American Revolution as you walk the Freedom Trail.
