Average time to visit
Visitors to Denver are pleasantly surprised by its climate, which features over 300 days of sunshine a year, and very little rainfall. Summer's bring beautiful long days and comfortable evenings, with low humidity. Mild winters mean snow melts quickly, allowing golf courses and outdoor cafes to remain open all year round.

Description
The Crawford Hotel is Denver's newest luxury hotel, located in the iconic Denver Union Station; it combines historic elements of Union Station's past with its modern and chic guest rooms and is a short walk from the city's hottest restaurants and shops.
Walking into the beautifully newly renovated Union Station with its huge windows and domed room, which acts as the "lobby" for The Crawford Hotel, you feel the warm atmosphere - it certainly doesn't have the air of a manic train station!
The hotel has a unique past; linked to everything from fires, to the gold rush, to World War II and more, The Crawford embraces its halcyon heritage and combines it with striking refurbished architecture and modern luxury.
The Crawford's rooms and suites are spacious and uniquely decorated, with sumptuous fabrics and modern features. Unique reclaimed artwork and blueprints, vintage trunks and vanity cases complete the look. All rooms offer all the mod-cons including iPads, Nespresso coffee makers, super fast WiFi and flat screen TVs. There are several interconnecting options for families or groups.
For people-watching, the glamorous Cooper Lounge is the place to be. Reminiscent of the 1930s Power Lounge, The Cooper serves hand crafted cocktails, draft beer and an extensive wine list - The perfect place to relax in a cosy armchair, enjoy a drink, and watch the world go by! The Cooper Lounge is open to all hotel guests, as well as to the public upon reservation.
After a day of exploring, or to help relax and get over the travelling, guest can soothe tired muscles with complimentary access to the Oxford Club Spa and Salon located across the street.
Accommodation
The hotel features 112 guest rooms on three floors. The rooms are split into three categories: The Pullman rooms are the smallest and evoke the feeling of a vintage sleeper car; the Classic rooms are light and airy with a contemporary charm; and the Loft rooms, which are located on the top floor making use of the attic space, with vaulted ceilings and shabby-chic exposed brink and beams.
Each room and suite is unique in its layout and design, but all of them offer modern-day luxuries, unique artwork, cutting-edge technology and updated bathrooms with luxurious rain.
Childcare
There are no specific children's facilities at The Crawford, but families are very welcome. There are suites available for families that would like to be together although the hotel will not guaranteed connecting rooms.
Facilities
There is an extensive choice of restaurants and eateries at The Crawford and Union Station's terminal. Dining options include The Terminal Bar, The Cooper Lounge and the Mercantile, a European style market restaurant.
Take-out style in-room dining is provided by Snooze and The Kitchen Next Door for farm-to-table pub style food.
Other services include twice daily housekeeping, a concierge service, a full service spa and fitness centre at The Oxford Club and complimentary wireless internet access.
Reviews
Camilla Swift (Staff)
The fact that The Crawford sits above the main train terminal of Denver's Union Station, instantly makes it unique. The main "lobby" or Terminal Bar is known as Denver's Living Room, and I can see why. It has the most fabulous buzz about it, a great atmosphere - lively yet calm.
What made The Crawford really stand out for me is the abundance of dining options within the "lobby". Whilst most hotels have a restaurant in their lobbies, here at The Crawford you don't have to feel like you're eating at your hotel as there's more to it than that. Dining options range from small artisan coffee shops to local favourites such as Stoic & Genuine for great seafood, and Snooze, Denver's famous pancake house!
