I really loved my stay at 506 On the River. The staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful if they tried - the service here is really attentive and genuine, there's nothing contrived about it. They genuinely want you to have a great stay - it's good old-fashioned hospitality!
The setting is lovely, the lawn and the river are so beautiful the perfect spot to relax with a cup of coffee after a day's adventures in the great outdoors in and around Woodstock.
My room was really comfortable and had everything I needed, and more. The bathroom is perhaps more functional than stylish. I loved the rocking chair on my balcony, too. I'd recommend rooms on the upper floor, so you don't hear footsteps walking in a room above you - the views are best from up there, too!
The food here is really great, and great value too - we enjoyed it so much we ate there two nights out of three during our stay.
