Itinerary
Fly to Kathmandu
Kathmandu, Nepal
Enjoy the amazing flight into Kathmandu before settling in and strolling through the bustling labyrinthine streets filled with colourful markets and temples galore. In the evening you can set off on a guided walking tour of Kathmandu, including to the picturesque Durbar Square.
The next morning either take a leisurely breakfast, relaxing into your trip or make the most of your time in the city to fit in an Everest flight, which truly is once in a lifetime! This one hour flight has spectacular views of the world's highest peaks in all their majesty and it really is closer than most will ever go.
Pokhara, Nepal
This morning take a flight to Pokhara, an idyllic city in the lap of the Himalayas. On arrival you will have the chance to get stuck straight into your new surroundings with a tour of Pokhara Valley including David's Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, Tal Barahi Temple and Fewa Lake to name a few. The stunning lake side setting really is a photographers dream.
The following morning you will have a chance to head into the mountainous countryside with a gentle hike which offers fantastic views of the Annapurna range. The snow-capped mountains and charming local villages create a beautifully tranquil setting. As you walk your guide will be able to impart wisdom on local cultures and traditions which continue to bring the country alive.
Chitwan National Park, Nepal
Today drive to Chitwan National Park about 5 hours from Pokhara and settle into the beautiful Meghauli Serai, Taj Safaris. As Nepal's first national park, Chitwan, 'the heart of the jungle', is a rich natural area renowned for its protection of one-horned rhinoceros, the Royal Bengal tiger and gharial crocodile.
The location of the lodge itself is perfect, sitting directly on the banks of the Rapti river offering spectacular views. Nepal is still alluring as ever and with Chitwan spanning nearly 1,000km, here guests can discover the wild side of this beautiful country. Over the three days in Meghauli Serai you will be able to enjoy a whole host of activities including safari drives with knowledgeable naturalists and for the brave hearted jungle walks will get you even closer to the action. Canoeing down the river is also a perfect option for those wanting a different vantage point to spot some incredible wildlife.

Kathmandu, Nepal
Spend one night back in Kathmandu, before your onward flight to Paro, at the beautiful Dwarikas, where you will be able to indulge in an incredible 22 course meal!

Thimphu, Bhutan
Today you will fly to the Kingdom of the Thunder Dragon, Bhutan! After being taken to the airport you will be a given a friendly goodbye from our staff in Kathmandu, before being met at Paro by our Bhutan team.
On arrival you will be taken directly to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan which still very much has a small town feel where the meeting of old and new can clearly be felt. You will have one night here staying at the Druk Hotel to explore the quaint streets and learning more about the local culture before continuing the next day to Punakha.
Punakha, Bhutan
Today you will be whisked to Punakha, the drive takes you over the Dochu La Pass where the Himalayas stretches as far as the eye can see. You will then descend into the valley, sitting at the confluence of the Mother and Father Rivers, Punakha is located in a beautiful fertile valley and is home to one of Bhutan's most beautiful and impressive sites, The Punakha Dzong. The landscapes and climate here are much more tropical, owing to its lower altitude, and it is great to explore the valley in exciting ways such as white-water rafting, trekking and mountain biking to name a few!

Paro, Bhutan
Your final stop in Bhutan is Paro, which boasts some of Bhutan's most celebrated sights including of course the famous Tiger's Nest Monastery. With an array of monasteries, colourful wooden fronted shops as well as plenty of people watching to enjoy, it is a great spot to spend a couple of days.
Any trip to Bhutan would not be complete without experiencing Tiger's Nest Monastery which you will have the chance to do on your final full day in the city, making for a spectacular end to an incredible adventure!
