The minute I checked in I forgot I was in Cancun. Although just a 15 min drive from the airport you feel like you are further away - thanks to the unique location at Punta Nizuc, you are mostly surrounded by water. I loved the food at the Ni- a Peruvian inspired restaurant but didnt have time to try the other ones there is a great variety though and the pool by the Terra Nostra (the Italian place) is gorgeous and a lot less busy than the main pool. I stayed in an ocean view suite with stunning views. Make sure you walk around at night. The main areas look spectacular with multiple fireplaces lit in mirror like pools.

Nizuc is a fantastic beach escape where the service is unsurpassed and the food at each of the six world-class restaurants is delicious. I loved dining at La Ramona, which offers authentic Mexican food with a twist. Nizuc is a large property with 274 rooms but retains a personal feel. All of the rooms are very spacious, spread out and beautifully designed with a very masculine feel to them. What I like about Nizuc is that it is divided into sections and caters to everyone, meaning it is perfect for both couples and families. Nestled at the end of the peninsula, the beach is very private and it is one of the only hotels to enjoy a sunset. Not to mention, it is only ten minutes from the airport. The location here, is unbeatable.
