Porto Sani forms part of the renowned Sani Resort on the Halkidiki coast in Greece. Set just behind the marina with its host of restaurants and resort facilities, it offers excellent villa style, family-friendly accommodation and a children's club.
Sani Resort is a family owned 1000 acre private ecological reserve with pine forests, bird sanctuaries, lakes and olive groves, all surrounding the marina and five individual hotels - Sani Dunes, Sani Beach, Porto Sani, Sani Asterias and Sani Club. Lush, landscaped gardens with Mediterranean scents on this unspoiled peninsular separate the hotels, whilst the Aegean Sea laps gently along the seven mile sandy beach.
With views across the gardens, lagoons and the marina, Porto Sani is an established family friendly option. With the exception of the Junior Suites, most of the suites at Porto Sani have separate bedrooms and living areas set within spacious low rise 'villa style' accommodation. The new Three Bedroom Family Suites are ideal for larger families, and those with older children. Families with younger children can use the dedicated crèche, whilst they take some well-earned rest, either by the heated pool, on the beach or in the tranquil Spa Suite for a treatment. Porto Sani has the exclusive Byblos Caviar Restaurant, where guests can try a selection of this delicacy, along with a choice of fresh and smoked fish.
One of the big attractions of Sani Resort is the amount of activities and facilities the resort, as a whole, offers for all ages and interests. A particular highlight is the bustling marina and shopping plaza with its choice of restaurants, lively bars, boutiques and great leisure and sports facilities.
Families of all ages are a firm feature throughout the resort and catered for in a variety of ways. Most restaurants have dedicated children's menus and are well stocked with highchairs and open at family friendly times, whilst a few are exclusively for guests over 12 years. To make a guest's stay as hassle free and relaxing as possible, Sani can arrange some extra touches in the rooms for children. Porto Sani has its own crèche and children's club, which takes children from 4 months to 12 years of age. There is also a Teen Club within the resort, which is open mid June through the end of August.
Porto Sani features 109 rooms and suites, most of which are located behind the marina of Sani Resort. Family accommodation is situated around the lagoon-styled pool and guests can choose between having their own private garden, separate living space and a choice of location. In addition to the main hotel, there are some junior suites located within the marina facility itself, which are great option for couples wanting views of the boats and passing yachts. All the suites offer the best amenities and space and feel more like a home-away-from-home.
Porto Sani offers standard rooms and a selection of Suites - Junior, Standard, Family and Deluxe, all of which are tastefully furnished in an elegant, minimal style in neutral colors and feature a balcony or terrace.
In addition there are tea/coffee making facilities, expresso machine, satellite TV with integrated music channels, CD/DVD (playstation available on request - limited availaibility) and complimentary WiFi. With the exception of the Junior Suite, most of the suites have one or two bedrooms and a separate sitting room making them a popular choice for families. For larger families the three bedroom family suites offer fantastic space for everyone. The Marina Junior Suites are located at Sani Marina.

Farrar Family - June 2017 (Guest)
The Porto Sani was a truly family friendly hotel - lots of activities to keep the kids entertained, huge variety of good
food, wonderful beaches, great facilities. The food was excellent as was the service in all of the restaurants, bars, pools and beaches. The approach to restaurant reservations was a little complicated and time consuming. My one recommendation would be to improve the information on options and how to book. Happy kids, huge variety of childcare activities, really good facilities, very friendly staff.
A private beach and views of Mount Olympus - what's not to love about the Sani, Halkidiki?
With views over Mount Olympus and the Aegean, the soft white sand and shallow water on Sanis private beach are perfect for tiny tootsies.
The long established Babewatch service, where experienced staff watch children while parents take a break, is available for those wanting to sunbathe in peace. And you neednt ever leave your sunlounger, as Beach Buddies deliver refreshments and snacks on request.
The Ofsted standard childrens clubs are run by UK childcare specialists and offer a range of activities including pool games, face-painting and arts and crafts.
