To start planning your vacation to Rosyth Estate
Originally part of a 350 acre estate, the Estate House was completely refurbished in 2010.
Whilst the original design remains unchanged, the house today offers outstanding accommodation and facilities. With high ceilings, cool polished floors, wide verandas, elegantly furnished rooms with eclectic works of art, this is a perfect place to immerse yourself in estate life, unwind, rejuvenate and explore.
Rosyth is a small working estate and has undergone extensive replanting and improvement over recent years in order to rejuvenate the productivity. Tea is plucked and sold to the nearby tea factory, whilst latex is tapped, treated and sold to a local rubber factory.
Guests can explore the estate, join the ladies plucking the tea leaves or see how the rubber is tapped. The local tea factory welcomes our guests and is happy to explain the process. Hike to the bottom of our slopes, through our tea terraces and rubber fields and discover the small waterfall and local paddy fields where local villagers cultivate their rice.
The estate contains walking trails, there are mountain biking routes and our staff will be happy to guide you through the tea terraces, rubber plantation and paddy fields.

When to go
Year round destination. Because the Hill Country it so high up it rarely gets unbearably hot. The months of December to April are probably the best time to visit, as temperatures rise to around 28C during the day but cool down at night. During the monsoon season from October to December you can expect heavy downpours. June to September are the driest months here, when there’s almost no rain at all.
