Straddling the equator, Indonesia tends to have a fairly even climate year-round. Rather than four seasons, Indonesia has two – wet and dry – and there are no extremes of temperature between winter and summer. Given the different climates throughout the archipelago, the vessel is able to operate different expeditions at different times of year.

Kate Pittam (Staff)

The most fantastic way to discover the wonders of Indonesia, we barely saw another boat on our voyage and the lack of phone signal and WiFi was something to cherish. We spent our days enjoying spectacular views, exploring the underwater life, trying to spot Komodo Dragons and relaxing on one of the daybeds on deck. By night we watched the sun set, drank cocktails and sampled delicious Indonesian cuisine. Highlights were playing with turtles whist we scuba dived, relaxing on pink sand beaches, spotting shooting stars and the crew teaching us traditional Indonesian dances. A truly authentic experience.
