Hacienda Concepcion is the newest addition to the Inkaterra hotel collection and is perfectly positioned near Lake Sandoval in the Peruvian Amazon. The eco-lodge provides an authentic jungle experience and is family-orientated.
Hacienda Concepcion in Peru in the Southern Amazon is nestled within more than 2,000 acres of lush rainforest home to rich ecosystems, tropical plants and wildlife.
Spend 2, 3 or 4 nights on one of their special packages inclusive of meals and exciting excursions. You may be lucky to observe giant river otters, blue and yellow macaws, dusky titi monkeys, agoutis, two-toed sloth, peccaries prehistoric-looking hoatzins and black caimans among others. In addition to wildlife experiences, guests will also be able to learn about the lodge's history and its botanical gardens featuring local medicinal plants.
Hacienda Concepcion has six standard rooms in the main lodge, all comfortably furnished with ceiling fan and en suite bathrooms with hot water. The tropical gardens house eighteen individual cabañas which are similar in standard but offer more privacy.
The lodge consists of a thatched main building with high ceilings and furniture crafted from locally salvaged wood, where the public spaces and six twin rooms are located, and eighteen separate stilted cabañas designed in traditional local style.

For you comfort, reading lights, outlets, ceiling fan, and a sitting area that includes a hammock. Every cabaña has a beautiful view to the forest and some of them face the oxbow lake.
Inkaterra Hacienda Concepción is a family-oriented lodge that offers special accommodations, such as additional beds, or bed railings (upon request and subject to availability); as well as highchairs, child-friendly guides, a children’s menu, and a child’s explorer kit with a flashlight, cap, colored pencils, magnifying glass, and granola in a belt bag. Treasure hunts are organized for children from 5-12 years.
Inkaterra Hacienda Concepción offers a selection of 14 varied quarter and half day excursions distributed in fixed itineraries according to the length of stay. The excursions vary in difficulty, duration, and attractions. Excursions are lead by a bilingual Inkaterra Explorer Guide; some of these are specifically recommended for children.
