Goldeneye

GoldenEye, owned by Chris Blackwell of Island Records fame, is the jewel in the crown of the Island Outpost collection of properties in Jamaica. A beautiful boutique property tucked away from it all in Oracabessa Bay just outside of Ocho Rios.

Goldeneye
  • Stay at one of the best locations on Jamaica, a far cry from the larger more developed areas on the island.

  • Eat freshly prepared local food at its best.

  • A truly unique property, rich in history and loaded with stories.

  • Unwind and let the mind wonder whilst staying in the villa where Ian Fleming wrote the famous James Bond novels.

Named after the book author Ian Fleming wrote here, GoldenEye is testament to the uber world of James Bond. Magically reinvigorated over the last few years, this beautiful property has reopened with brand new beachfront cottages and suites, perfect for couples and families, looking for a secluded holiday in a lush and beautiful part of Jamaica.

Stay in a one or two bedroom cottage located on the beach or the lagoon. For a special occasion or for guests with a larger family all wanting to be accommodated together, stay in Ian Fleming's house itself, complete with your own pool, private beach and stunning sunken garden. There are also 26 charming beach huts and a number of additional beachside facilities too.

Laze the days away at GoldenEye in a hammock overlooking the ocean or explore the 30 acres of exotic gardens and grounds with Ramsay, who has worked at GoldenEye since Fleming's days and will explain all the fascinating flora and fauna, including 255 species of birds. For the more adventurous, take a jet ski trip to forgotten coves, kayak along the resort's own lagoon and into the open sea, learn to sail or take fishing trips with Ramsay. In the early evenings, enjoy a spectacular sunset at the Bizot Bar and try owner Blackwell's locally produced dark rum in a signature GoldenEye cocktail before enjoying a delicious dinner or a traditional spicy Jamaican barbecue. Come and experience this secluded bolthole for yourself - surely Jamaica’s best kept secret.
