Laluna is small, stylish hotel set on a gorgeous wild beach in the south west corner of Grenada. As cosmopolitan as it is chic, Laluna is truly elegant yet deliciously informal. Everything about this tropical retreat of individual cottages echoes the qualities that are synonymous with graceful, romantic Caribbean life - discreet, unhurried and unobtrusive.
The hotel’s simply furnished 16 cottages are a fusion of Asian elements with West Indian detail, each with its own plunge pool and veranda. Cottages are equipped with beautiful four-poster Balinese king size beds with Italian linen sheets and open style bathrooms. Amenities include air conditioning, ceiling fan, flat screen TV and cable, iPod docking stations, DVD player (only in select rooms), wireless internet connection, minibar with complimentary tea and coffee station and walk-in closet with electronic safe.
The main clubhouse, featuring a high-peaked, authentically thatched roof, consists of various low-lying stone and wooden structures and Indonesian style sofas. Open and airy, it overlooks the resort’s fresh water pool and private beach. There is a restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine and boasts a decent wine cellar.
Laluna also has a fabulous Wellness Center, offering health retreats and spa services. It is known as The Sanctuary and comprises of an organic garden, an Asian spa and yoga pavilion. Activities at the resort include snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, cycling, fishing, tennis, golf, scuba diving, hiking and island tours can also be arranged.
Laluna’s secluded suites feature open-air showers, private plunge pools, and luxury accommodations to set the scene for a romantic Grenada getaway. Some suites are located in various points on the hillside, which will give dramatic views over the Caribbean sea. One of the cottages is located right on the beach, so you can step out onto the sand. All have veranda with daybed, four-poster Balinese king size bed with Italian linen sheets, air conditioning and ceiling fan, flat screen tv & cable, ipod dock stations, direct dial telephones and internet wireless connection, minibar with complimentary tea and coffee station, walk-in closet with electronic safe and umbrella, open style bathroom with hair dryer, bathrobes and Italian bath products.
A mere 60 steps from the beach and main house, the semi detached cottage suites are tucked away on the upper hill of the property, offering the most dramatic view of the Caribbean Sea.
The free-standing Deluxe cottages provide a private, intimate experience. Located on the hillside above the stunning Caribbean sea, only 30 steps separate the Deluxe cottages from the beautiful beach.

Laluna's most private offering, the free-standing Deluxe Beach cottage is located directly on the beach. Only 40 feet from the waters edge, the intimate beachfront cottage opens onto a lawn which leads to within just a few steps to the beach.
|Two Bedroom Cottage||
The two bedroom cottages are 2 Cottage Suites that are side by side with a shared veranda. They are located on the hillside and hence they enjoy the most dramatic view of the Caribbean Sea.
Children over the age of 12 years are welcome to come and stay at Laluna. Those under 12 years may only do so by prior request. There are no particular facilities available for children at the hotel, it is therefore more recommended for adults and older children.
Facilities at the resort include a swimming pool, restaurant, lounge and bar, wine cellar, fitness room and boutique.
Meditation, yoga and pilates lessons, room service, laundry service, free internet and wireless connection are available for all guests during their stay.
There is a minimum stay of 3 nights year round except 20 Dec – 10 Jan where 7 nights is applicable, and Half Board supplement is mandatory.
Complimentary activities include swimming, snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, gym and cycling. Activities at an additional charge include massage & spa treatments, off-site fishing, tennis, golf, scuba diving, hiking and island tours can also be arranged.

When to go
Offering warm temperatures throughout the year the Caribbean is a perfect year round destination. With an average of 9 hours sunshine a day the peak season runs from December through to April which is the dry season when you can expect very little rainfall. May to November are the slightly wetter months where you will find an increase in rainfall as the summer season goes on and with that some humidity, however the Summer months are still a great time to travel as the temperatures are hot and the rain tends to come in short heavy bursts but not all day long. The wettest months with the most humidity are September and October and these are the most probable months for hurricanes to occur in the region although many islands have not experienced hurricanes for a number of years. The average daily temperatures range from the mid-seventies in the winter months and mid-eighties in the summertime.
