Straddling the equator, Indonesia tends to have a fairly even climate year-round. Rather than four seasons, Indonesia has two – wet and dry – and there are no extremes of temperature between winter and summer. In most parts of Indonesia, the wet season falls between October and April and the dry season between May and September. December and January see Indonesia at its most humid and rain tends to come in sudden tropical downpours, but it can also rain for more prolonged periods.

Day 1-3

City Centre

The most iconic way to start your Indonesia adventure, at the world-famous Raffles in Singapore.  Steeped in style, history and salubrious colonial glamour, your experience begins at the door where you are greeted in true Raffles style by the fabulous doormen in their distinctive uniforms and warming smiles of welcome.  An iconic landmark of Singapore's colonial past, with unwavering service that has been legendary for 120 years and it is a fabulous historical and indulgent place to stay. The legendary 'Long Bar' - home to the Singapore Sling is a very good place to start or why not head to The Grand Lobby where traditional afternoon tea can be enjoyed?  The wonderful rooftop swimming pool set in lush gardens is a perfect haven to relax after time spent exploring Singapore.

Delve straight into the history, culture and lifestyles of this city with your private guided tour taking you to all the key landmarks of this fascinating city. Soak up the ambience of Little India, view the iconic Merlion Park and Marina Bay, the historic district of Chinatown and the National Orchid Garden, boasting 60,000 orchid plants in an awe-inspiring display. As well as all the iconic landmarks of Singapore the Michelin-Star street food tour is a must.  Your local expert food explorer will take you through hidden alleys to some of Singapore’s Michelin Star ‘restaurants’. You will not only enjoy the best bites but hear fascinating stories about the food and the proud people behind them - a true insider's guide to Singapore's ever-changing food scene.

Anambas Islands, Indonesia

Leap from the most iconic hotel in Asia to one of the most exclusive remote properties in Asia, Bawah Reserve.  Only accessible by seaplane Bawah Reserve is a private island experience like no other, a group of six tropical islands that feature beautifully designed suites and overwater bungalows. Surrounded by crystal clear lagoons and coral reefs as well as dense jungle canopy and mangroves, this eco-hideaway is an explorer’s dream and barefoot luxury at its best. Head out and explore for yourself, making your way along the wooden walkways over the azure blue lagoons, all perfect for snorkelling. Further afield, the resort's diving instructors can take you on diving expeditions to see the incredible marine life that inhabits these shores or a guide can take you on a hike around the island.

Food is also a big part of the Bawah experience and there are plenty of dining options bringing you only the best from the sea and local produce around with pallet tingling cuisine  There's even a lookout bar named after the famous French author Jules Verne, known for writings about extraordinary voyages.

Day 7-9

Ubud

Plunge from one paradise island to another, staying at the hidden luxury oasis of Capella Ubud.  A boutique luxury tented camp located high in the rainforest on the outskirts of Bali’s cultural capital, Ubud.  Inspired by nature and its surroundings, your opulent tent, allows you to relax and listen to the sounds of nature and the nearby Wos river, with your very own private saltwater plunge pool, spacious outside decking area and luxury day beds. Grand dark wooden hand-crafted Indonesian furniture is complimented by large windows and open-air bathrooms, all working in harmony to create a luxurious retreat.

Explore the nearby paddy fields or local villages on the hotels bicycles or relax on your private decking and enjoy a traditional Indonesian massage.  There is so much to see whilst in Bali, with your private guide visit some of Bali's most impressive holy temples and stunning UNESCO recognised rice terraces on this journey to Taman Ayun temple complex, Candi Kuning, Ulun Danu Temple and the rice terraces at Jatiluwih.
