Jenni, a nanny from our Intrepid Explorers children’s club at Soneva Kiri in Thailand sent us these pictures and snippets from the “Eco Den”. Here, little ones enter a whole world of fun adventures, all run by qualified nannies and this Easter, the Intrepid Explorers became scientists, cooks and fishermen…

Chocolate making with Fiona Scotti
The children enjoyed learning where chocolate comes from; starting with the bean right to the end of its journey. It was a fun-filled, yummy and very messy activity with our visiting Chocolatier, Fiona.

Egg Drop Challenge
The children were split into teams to discover if a raw egg would survive the harrowing 12-foot plunge from an over-ground walkway. Their mission was to build a container that would protect their eggs using sellotape, string and paper…..the results were cracking!

Fishing Trip
Two fishermen along with ten children and the Den team took a boat out to sea and spent the afternoon fishing. It was enjoyed by everyone especially Ollie’s (below) family who had it specially prepared by one of our chefs for their dinner.
Here’s Ollie’s catch of the day. He was very excited to go on the trip.
