Since living in the USA in my early childhood, I've always had a passion for travel and exploring the new. After finishing university, I packed my bags and went on a five month trip to South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand and had the most incredible time. Since working at Scott Dunn, I've had the opportunity to explore Indonesia, India and Australasia.

Favourite places I've been
If you're after a particularly special trip to the Taj Mahal in India, opt for a night's stay at the Oberoi Amarvilas. Each room offers incredible views of the mausoleum; watching the sun set over the Taj from your private balcony is breathtaking.
As soon as you board the plane, set your watch to the time of your destination. I find this really helps me combat jetlag.
Pay a visit to Vertigo and Moon Bar at the Banyan Tree Bangkok. The views from this rooftop restaurant are absolutely phenomenal - particularly when the city is lit up at night.
Whilst in New Zealand, I strongly recommend going on a long walk along Abel Tasman National Park's famous coast track. Every corner you turn, you're met with another stunning panorama.
Enjoy a delicious six-course dinner at Mozaic restaurant in Ubud, Bali. The food here is exquisite and beautifully presented, making for a truly memorable meal. Make sure you arrive hungry!
Make sure to wake up early to watch sunrise over Uluru (Ayer's Rock) - and don't forget your camera!
My hot picks
The hotel has absolutely incredible 360 degree views of Bangkok from its rooftop bar - well worth paying a visit. Their Cantonese restaurant, Bai Yun, also serves seriously delicious dimsum!
This is a really beautiful property situated amongst lush, green rice paddies. It's less than a 20 minute drive away from the center of Ubud but offers total peace and relaxation away from the crowds. The service here is also excellent.
Located nearby to the town of Ubud, Four Seasons Sayan is a beautiful property where you can escape the crowds and completely unwind. The pool villas here are extremey spacious and designed in traditional Balinese style. Service here is terrific.
This is one of my favorite boutique hotels in Kerala as it offers bright, spacious and uniquely furnished rooms and suites. It sits right next to Lake Vembanad, offering wonderful panoramic views across the water, and also has a good sized infinity pool.
Samode Haveli is absolutely brimming with charm and character. This boutique property is the only hotel located within Jaipur's walled city, and offers large, luxurious and beautifully furnished suites.
This is such a great countryside property to stop off at in between Jaipur and Udaipur where you can explore rural India. Enjoy sundowners at Dikhola Fort in the evening or go on a bike ride through the nearby village.
If you're a fan of quirky interiors but still looking for excellent service, then this is a terrific choice. Sujan Rajmahal Palace is one of the oldest palaces in Jaipur and was previously home to the Majaraja of Jaipur, so also has a fascinating history.
