To start planning your holiday to Bai San Ho
Spread throughout tropical grounds that run alongside the gleaming white sands of an almost mile long beach, Bai San Ho’s 71 villas are a world away from the rat race, an untouched paradise of coral bays and diamond-clear waters.
Situated in Vietnam’s Phu Yen province, Bai San Ho sits in 240-acres of tropical grounds, its Paddy Field Villas, Hill Pool Villas and Beach Pool Villas incorporating a range of architectural styles that all sit sympathetically in their lush surrounds. Three restaurants and bars, a Kids Club, yoga studio and wellness centre join a tantalising array of watersports and experiences to create an escape that can be as laidback or active as you wish.
The 71 Villas and Suites sit comfortably in the grounds, their architectural styles reminiscent of the homes of the Eden and Cham tribes or built in a traditional stilted style. With 46 of the 71 boasting private pools, the emphasis here is on pure, unadulterated relaxation in idyllic surrounds. Rustically stylish with natural materials and subdued tones, the villas draw the gaze to the spectacular landscapes that lie just beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows. Complimentary WiFi, televisions and air-conditioning add modern touches, while the king size beds, minibars and bathrooms with both bath and shower bring a superior level of comfort.
Famed for its enthusiasm and focus on gastronomy, dining at Bai San Ho is a culinary journey, from international flavours to Vietnamese and freshly caught seafood grilled over a BBQ. The lively bars range from traditional huts on the beach to the rococo-style decor of the cocktail bar and the lively vibes of the pool bar. The wellness centre boasts Technogym equipment, indoor and outdoor yoga spaces and two tennis courts while the large spa features seven treatment rooms, a hammam, sauna and tea room.
Time at Bai San Ho could be spent languidly gazing out at the impossibly blue waters of the ocean or enjoying the serene silence of the grounds, though those with itchier feet are spoilt for choice when it comes to activities. From running tracks to nature walks, village tours to cooking lessons, surfing to canoeing, the resort offers a vast array of experiences that offer a holistic experience of the area.
With its remote location and superb amenities Bai San Ho is a memorable getaway for both families and couples, both of whom can craft their own perfect break with the kids club, delicious dining options, bars and varied activities.
Ranging from 41sq.m to 51sq.m, the villas are spacious and well-appointed, with most accommodating two adults and one child. For families, a number of the Paddy Field Villas can be interconnected while the three of the Beach Pool Villas and two of the Hill Pool Villas offer two bedrooms that can accommodate four adults and two infants. With a private plunge pool and pool deck, the Hill Pool Villas and Beach Pool Villas offer space to unwind and relax in privacy.
Children are welcome at Bai San Ho, with a number of the Villas offering two-bedroom accommodation or interconnecting villas. For larger groups, three of the Paddy Field Villas can be interconnected to create a large space with a shared terrace of 30sq.m. The Kids Club entertains children from 7am-9pm.
The three restaurants share a focus on healthy dishes that use sustainable, fresh ingredients in a variety of cuisines, while the bars are equally varied – taking you from poolside refreshment to sunset drinks on the beach and cosy nightcaps in the opulent surrounds of the Ham Bar. Those looking for a more meditative escape can take a yoga class on the outdoor platform with its mountain views, while group and individual lessons can be enjoyed on the two tennis courts for more energetic types. The Kids Club is open from 7am to 9pm, offering younger guests their own taste of independence with hammocks, a swimming pool, library and games, all supervised by a team of professionals.
