Located at the end of the Sterling Highway, 200-miles south of Anchorage, the town’s shops, museums, galleries, and fine dining opportunities, along with its attractive fishing harbour, make it a lovely place to spend some time. The tour begins with a 20-minute boat trip to the Homer Spit. This long narrow finger of land extends 5-miles into Kachemak Bay and is home to the fishing harbour.
