Jon Nicholson

Jon Nicholson’s unbounding enthusiasm for travel began at an early age and he has been fortunate enough to see so much of the world throughout his career, getting insider access to unique festivals and events, capturing the beauty of people and places through his lens. Throughout his 35 years as a photographer, Jon has shot for many of the world’s top publications, including National Geographic, Conde Nast Traveler and the Sunday Times Magazine, as well as working with UNICEF to document current affair topics across Africa. He has also recently been involved with an ongoing project traveling to India, Bhutan, China and Myanmar, focusing on working women in Asia.

Jon works using both digital and film cameras to create inspiring results and particularly favours the highly acclaimed Leica M series cameras, some of which shoot only in black & white. He also worked as an ambassador for Olympus for 15 years, showcasing his work in numerous exhibitions and helping Olympus to reach the standard of digital cameras they are producing today.
