Our personalized private nanny service is designed to provide families with the freedom to fully immerse in the mountain experience - whether it's exploring the slopes, enjoying après-ski, or savoring an early dinner - while your little ones are in the capable hands of our highly trained and experienced Explorers Private Nannies.
Our dedicated private nannies are hand-picked, experienced childcare professionals who will make all the difference to the success of your family skiing experience, ensuring parents have the necessary support to enjoy their skiing without the usual compromises. Our exclusive service puts you in control to design your childcare according to the needs of your family, creating time for your skiing, and making the most of special family time together.

Your private nanny will be based within the property you are staying, using your hotel room or chalet for sleep time and running activities, while also making the most of the property’s facilities, such as a swimming pool or kids play areas. They will seamlessly follow each child’s routine, including naps and feeds, with a curated selection of toys and a week-long itinerary of age-appropriate activities, carefully crafted to match their interests. Our program also ensures your child makes the most of everything the resort has to offer, from building snowmen, discovering the resort's top hot chocolate spots and sledging in the winter wonderland to swimming and bowling.
For the ultimate in stress-free skiing, our Explorers Private Nannies can help get your children ready for Ski School and take them along to the morning drop-off, so you can hit the first lift, linger longer over breakfast or enjoy a morning in the spa. They will then meet them after ski lessons and accompany them back to your hotel/chalet and oversee lunch arrangements, meaning that you don't need to disrupt or curtail your ski day, before the nanny takes them off for an afternoon of fun.
Our nannies are available in the following ski resorts in the Alps: Val d’Isere, Tignes, Courchevel, Méribel and Val Thorens.

Meals
The Explorers Private Nanny will take your children to the property's restaurants, restaurants in the resort or can meet parents for mealtimes. (Guests will have to cover any costs or provide the children’s meals).

Our Explorers Private Nanny service is exclusive for guests booking their ski vacation with Scott Dunn in Val d'Isere, Tignes, Courchevel, Meribel and Val Thorens.

Our private nannies can look after children from 4 months to 11 years old.

You will have your private nanny for 6 days per week, for 8 hours per day, between the hours of 8am to 8pm. Your private nanny will be able to work one split shift per day for flexibility, or for eight hours consecutively.

Yes, you can split their hours during the day, for example, an hour in the morning to take children to ski school, then meet the children and oversee lunch and entertain them throughout the afternoon, supervise their supper and get them ready for bed, leaving you to enjoy a full ski day without needing to rush back and miss out on apres-ski fun when the mood takes you! To ensure continuity, we suggest only one split shift per day.

Yes you will have the same nanny for the duration of the vacation, but nannies may collaborate with other nannies while out enjoying resort activities.
