The stand-alone cabins are set around a main central lodge where the restaurant is situated, so you have your own space and privacy. The central lodge also offers a cosy living room area where you can relax by the roaring fire and reflect on your day's experiences. The secluded location of the lodge has very little light pollution, so you have a good chance of seeing the Northern Lights from here on a clear evening, which is wonderfully reflected by the frozen sea.
The coastal location of the lodge makes it the perfect place to enjoy an array of activities in both winter and summer. In winter highlights include husky sledding, snowmobiles and reindeer sleigh rides, as well as our personal favourites, a hovercraft ride over the frozen lake or dinner on the ice.
During the summer or autumn the surrounding nature is calling out to be explored either by foot, bike or kayak. Your personable hosts can recommend a plethora of activities including guided foraging and seal safaris.
