The Corral del Rey was absolutely remarkable from start to finish. There are three different buildings that one could stay in, and all rooms are built around a gorgeous patio that allows natural light to flow in through the centre of the hotel. Ample seating areas are offered for those who are taking some time to relax, as well as a plunge pool on the rooftop terrace which features an honesty bar and incredible views of the Seville Cathedral! Not only are the dcor and amenities top notch, but the location is unbeatable - you are in a quiet neighbourhood, but on one side is a main shopping street and on the other is the street that leads to the famed cathedral and the Real Alcazar. Enjoy the romance that envelops you in this city, from Flamenco to sunsets over the Guadalquivir river there is always an opportunity for entertainment and excitement in this city, and all of it is within 10-15 minutes' walk of the Corral del Rey.

The perfect luxury hideaway in Seville. I loved this hotel and my suite with its enormous terrace and delicious plunge pool. We refer to so many properties as "hidden gems" but this one is the real deal. Corral del Rey is set in three old townhouses that combine to offer 17 completely individual rooms, a small dining room and a comfy and stylish lounge. The attitude here is the same as Scott Dunn's -nothing is too much trouble -and they are dedicated to making your stay perfect. This is city chic at its best and I can't wait to return.

The Corral del Rey is a hidden gem within the labyrinth of small cobbled streets that comprise the centre of Seville. In terms of location, the hotel is the perfect option for the cultural couple or older family who are keen to get out and explore the historical sites during the day. Breakfast is the only available sit-down meal to guests, offering a selection of fruit, pastries and breads, with the choice of an additional, more comprehensive menu, at an added supplement. The hotel staff are highly knowledgeable on the local area and can suggest diverse options for eating out during the day and in the evening. The hotel has a very boutique character, with the juxtaposition of traditional features and the beautifully chic interior design, evoking a very relaxed atmosphere. There is a charming little terrace on the hotel roof, perfect for guests wishing to have a bit of down time after a day's sightseeing. Also on the roof terrace guests can enjoy a cool drink or have an indulgent dip in the plunge pool.

Corral del Rey is a stunning boutique hotel situated in the very heart of Seville old town. Featuring beautifully decorated and individually styled rooms, with large bathrooms and comfy beds, this is the ultimate crash pad after a busy day in the city. The terrace at the top of the hotel is a lovely, quiet place to relax, and the plunge pool is a real bonus when temperatures reach the high 30s, common in Seville during the summer months. Honesty bars and homely sitting rooms add to the relaxed, quiet vibe of the hotel, perfect for grown ups wanting an oasis away from the bustling city.
