Visit the Alhambra and the Generalife Gardens, which display, in a unique setting, a series of palaces and gardens that certainly recall the 1001 Arabian Nights. After exploring the captivating citadel of the Nasrid sultans, a reflection of an entire civilization, we descend to the Royal Chapel, built in the heart of the city to house the tombs of Isabella of Castile and Ferdinand of Aragon, the founders of the Spanish monarchy. The funerary chapel, in Gothic style, displays art treasures, the cenotaphs of Catholic monarchs, Joan the Mad and Philip the Fair, Renaissance masterpieces, a golden altarpiece and a collection of paintings by early Flemish geniuses (Hans Memling, Van der Weyden and Dieric Bouts), along with other artists such as Boticelli.
