Situated just south of the equator, the Seychelles have a warm tropical climate. The consistently warm tropical weather makes the Seychelles a good year round destination.
There is little fluctuation in warmth, with temperatures ranging from 24C to 31C all year round. From May to October a southeast trade wind can bring marginally cooler weather and fresh breezes. From November to March the northwest monsoon wind blows, typically raising temperature and humidity. December and January are the wettest months, but the rain falls in short sharp bursts before the sun comes out again.

Not your typical Hilton is how I always start to describe the Northolme. If you say Hilton, guests normally immediately imagine big city centre business hotels. This little boutique hotel couldn't be more different. Perched on rocks overlooking the ocean in the North of Mah, this is a calm little oasis, perfect for unwinding whilst exploring the island.
The beach here is tiny, especially at high tide, and can be a little rough too, however, the setting is beautiful. All the accommodation is in individual villas on stilts, some almost out over the water. The four poster beds are wonderfully comfortable and the bathrooms vast and indulgent. This is a great honeymoon choice, especially as only adults are allowed to stay.
There are a couple of restaurants, one for light bites and the main restaurant, with wonderful sea views and mainly buffet fare. The service here was a little patchy during my stay but the food good nonetheless. Occasional evening entertainment is also provided but generally this is a mellow and quiet place to unwind, be together and totally relax. I'd recommend a 3 to 4 night stay before heading out to another island.
