Situated just south of the equator, the Seychelles have a warm tropical climate. The consistently warm tropical weather makes the Seychelles a good year round destination. There is little fluctuation in warmth, with temperatures ranging from 27C to 31C all year round. From May to October a southeast trade wind can bring marginally cooler weather and fresh breezes. From November to March the northwest monsoon wind blows, typically raising temperature and humidity. December and January are the wettest months, but the rain falls in short sharp bursts before the sun comes out again.

Six Senses Zil Pasyon is a luxury boutique beach resort in the Seychelles, located on the private island of Félicité. With other inner islands nearby for activities, Zil Pasyon is secluded and offers guests the utmost in privacy and luxury.
Six Senses have become synonymous in opening seductively beautiful beach hotels and Zil Pasyon is a wonderful addition to the collection. The hotel is located on the private island of Félicité, about 55 kilometres north-east of Mahé, and close to the well known islands of Praslin and La Digue. The dramatic granitic island is around one-square mile in size and is characterised by its large granite boulders and picture-perfect beaches (the best being La Penice just around the corner from the main resort). The forested centre of the island rises up to a peak of 213 metres, providing a range of walking trails for guests to explore. Exceptional flora grows on the island - keep an eye out for wild vanilla orchids, coconut palms, wild mango, bananas and oranges, amongst many others.
Zil Pasyon is located on the north tip of Félicité and contains just 30 villas and 17 private residences. The villas have spectacular uninterrupted ocean views, and are all carefully positioned on the granite cliffs, providing a great deal of privacy, with superb terraces and plunge pools looking out to the Indian Ocean. Villas have their own wine cellars, and 24-hour butler and in-villa dining services, ensuring guests' stays are as comfortable and secluded as can be. With the use of exposed wooden beams, blue accents and large windows, the villas embrace nature while offering all modern amenities.
Six Senses Zil Pasyon offers six fantastic dining options, for a large variety of cuisines and styles. From the intimate Chef's Kitchen to The Wine Vault, there is something to suit each guest. Making full use of the island's privacy, Zil Pasyon has a swimming pool right at the water's edge, as well as three beautiful beaches for guests to choose from. The Experience Centre can organise a host of activities, including diving and boat excursions to neighbouring islands.
There are 28 one-bedroom villas and 2 two-bedroom villas along with 17 private residences. Villas range in size from 200 to 500 square metres, and are surrounded by spacious grounds for complete privacy. They all feature plunge pools and private sundecks with outdoor dining areas. Bathrooms contain a deep-soaking bathtub, and amenities are provided by The Organic Pharmacy. Each villa has a private wine cellar and butler service.

Six Senses Zil Pasyon has six food and drink options, and much of the produce served is cultivated in the on-site garden or local farms. Seychelles cuisine takes its inspiration from the many cultures that have resided on the islands and the hotel offers the best of these, with African, Chinese, French, English and Indian influences reflected in the menus.
The Six Senses Spa is inspired by the natural surroundings and located amongst the boulders, and offers an array of treatments in five double villa treatment rooms. Hammam, sauna, yoga and meditation are all on offer from in-house and visiting practitioners. Near the spa is the gym with all necessary equipment.
|Six Senses Spa Zil Pasyon||
The spa at Zil Payson has been designed with the surrounding nature at the heart of its layout, and is set between the island's natural towering rocks, granite boulders, lush jungle and the Indian Ocean. Guests can take part in cooking classes with local ingredients, or try their hand at fishing. There is also an outdoor cinema, daily yoga and a pétanque court for guests' use.

One of the things I like most about this hotel is that it is located on Felicite island and offers a private island experience but still within easy reach of other islands to explore nearby, such as Praslin, La Digue and Curieuse islands. Some of the other private island experiences in the Seychelles are too remote to easily island hop. The other thing I love about this hotel is the quality and style of the villas - they are absolutely gorgeous. Each one is tucked away on the hillside offering complete privacy and spectacular views out over the Indian Ocean. They also each have a private pool and a luxurious bathroom featuring a swing, huge bath tub and rain shower. This was only my second Six Senses experience and I loved it so much that I am now keen to try out more of the Six Senses properties!

A truly spectacular addition to the Six Senses group of hotels which you will not be disappointed by. Arrive by helicopter within 20 minutes of leaving Mah and you will be met by your butler who will whisk you off in a buggy to the comfort of your villa. Each and every villa is incredibly private with its own private pool. All beautifully designed and somewhere you will not want to leave. Breakfast can be taken in the comfort of your own villa or down at the main restaurant. Dining options are all la carte and will never fail to disappoint. Take a towel and relax on one of the three beaches, go for a snorkel and look out for the turtles or bat fish. If you feel like doing something more relaxing then take a stroll to the spa and enjoy the breathtaking views, cool off in the lovely infinity pool or start the morning with a yoga session. Six Senses Zil Pasyon is amazing. One of my favourite places in the whole world!
