Weather-wise, the best times to go are spring and autumn, when temperatures are 20°C to 25°C by day and at least 10°C by night, and November to February, with cooler nights but similar daytime temperatures and light rainfall possible. The weather in March and April features sporadic, light rainfall with some sandstorms in April, while June sees dusty siroccos (desert winds) sweep through the city. From mid-June to August temperatures rise into the 30s and occasionally 40s.

The Royal Mansour is an elegant palace located on the edge of the medina. Boasting a selection of luxurious private riads, each has their own private terrace and plunge pool and is the ultimate in lavish luxury owned by the King of Morocco.

A stay at The Royal Mansour is a memorable experience. Owned by the King of Morocco himself the building is an Islamic fortress complete with delicate details representing the very best of the Moorish architecture of North Africa. Local craftsmen, with their skills passed down through generations, have created a beautiful piece of architecture combining tradition and modernity.

After visiting the bustling Medina, the Royal Mansour offers an oasis of calm for you to escape to and enjoy having your every need being taken care of. This exquisite retreat has an air of tranquillity and elegance, and the individually-designed riads are accessed by the staff via a series of underground tunnels for complete privacy and unrivalled service. Modelled on a traditional Moroccan house, Royal Mansour’s riads are elevated to new heights with three floors of luxury. Featuring one, two or three bedrooms, the riads offer luxurious and sumptuously decorated accommodation, using a combination of silks, carved woodwork and marble.

At the heart of the riad there is a delightful courtyard with a fountain and on the roof terrace you will find a sun deck and plunge pool. Each riad comes with its own attentive yet discreet butler.

Privacy is the essence of Royal Mansour. From the medina’s shady pathways, a private entrance grants access to the peaceful interior courtyard of the riad. Reception rooms radiate from this central patio.

Premier Riad

With an imposing entrance, each one bedroom superior riad is spread over three floors according to Moroccan tradition, with a central courtyard bordered by a Moroccan lounge area and sitting room on the ground floor, large bedroom with walk-in wardrobe above and a roof terrace with lounge tent and plunge pool

Privilege Riad

Natural daylight floods this impressive space from dawn until dusk thanks to the patio’s sliding glass roof. Feast on the dishes served in Royal Mansour’s fine-dining restaurants in the privacy of your riad. Relax on the spacious roof terrace, sip tea in the lounge tent, or bathe in the spacious plunge pool. Privilege Riads offer two bedrooms.

Prestige Riad

This feels like a stately home! The Three Bedroom Riads comprise a sitting room, dining room, master bedroom with two bathrooms, library, private hammam, plunge pool, sun deck. Also with the services of a private butler.
