A stay at The Royal Mansour is a memorable experience. Owned by the King of Morocco himself the building is an Islamic fortress complete with delicate details representing the very best of the Moorish architecture of North Africa. Local craftsmen, with their skills passed down through generations, have created a beautiful piece of architecture combining tradition and modernity.
After visiting the bustling Medina, the Royal Mansour offers an oasis of calm for you to escape to and enjoy having your every need being taken care of. This exquisite retreat has an air of tranquillity and elegance, and the individually-designed riads are accessed by the staff via a series of underground tunnels for complete privacy and unrivalled service. The meticulously kept gardens which weave in between the riads have stunning flowers, with marble paths drawing you around corners and welcoming you in further to this magical residence.
The luxurious riads all have three floors with terraces and plunge pools, and the larger riads have private dining rooms and some with their own hammam rooms. Despite the traditionally-themed design, every modern luxury has been thought of. The spa, designed to revitalise all your senses, encourages relaxation and provides a sense of tranquillity using modern and traditional techniques.
Alongside the indoor spa pool, Royal Mansour boasts a spectacular outdoor pool in the manicured gardens. The seven poolside pavilions are the perfect place to relax for day, offering a dining area, lounge and luxurious bathroom. The Jardin restaurant serves a fantastic array of international cuisine, with innovative and creative recipes courtesy of chef Yannick Alléno.
The impressive nature of the Royal Mansour is embodied not only in its accommodation, but also in the exquisite restaurants. The three Michelin-starred chef creates dishes which are Moroccan at heart but also have a contemporary French twist. With the equally impressive wine list, and choice of eating in one of the four restaurants or bars, the Piano Lounge or on your private terrace, you are sure to have a truly memorable dining experience.
