Anahita Golf & Spa Resort is the epitome of a great family resort. At the heart of the estate overlooking the turquoise lagoon are the one, two and three bedroom suites and 28 luxury villas. The suites are situated on the ground, first or second floors and each has been crafted into an apartment-style, sleek and restful retreat with living areas and modern amenities, most also offering private plunge pools.
The villas are perfect for families wanting even more space, with plenty of areas both inside and outside, as well as very flexible dining options. Guests can order continental breakfast to be served in their villa at no extra charge. For those on half board, there is no extra cost for room service so you can eat dinner on your own terrace. You can also try the private chef option for dinner one night, which involves an amazing dinner being prepared just for you. Either option is useful for families preferring not to have a babysitter each night. The covered terrace has a living and dining area, giving you protection from the sun, and the pool has the option to be fenced off. We can arrange to have your fridge stocked on arrival, and you can also indulge in various in-villa beauty treatments.
Anahita Golf & Spa Resort has a good choice of restaurants and private dining options using fresh local products. Origine, overlooking the ocean, serves delicious breakfasts and then opens for dinner. Il Forno serves an appealing selection of delicious traditional Italian dishes for dinner. Guests can enjoy eating with their feet in the sand at Bliss - where the lunch menu is perfect for the whole family. The resort can also arrange a personalised picnic or BBQ on a secluded white sandy beach, taking you there by boat.
Anahita has its own small beach at the resort as well as a second, exclusive beach on the Ile aux Cerfs island, accessible via a short free boat shuttle. Here you will find 300 metres of white sandy beach and crystal clear water, unspoilt by development or hawkers. Enjoy a simple but tasty grilled lunch here and enjoy the peaceful location.
Children can have a fantastic time at the children’s club whilst you perfect your swing on either of the Championship golf courses, or indulge in a massage. The children's club is a haven for younger guests, managed by nannies with internationally recognised childcare qualifications with input from Scott Dunn's childcare team when initially set up. Action-packed days are filled with activities such as kayaking, tennis sessions, trips to lle aux Cerfs, papier-mâché modelling, snorkelling and glass-bottom boat trips. A new adventure park Domaine de L'Étoile, which is close by, has fabulous facilities for older children, including high rope trails, quad biking and horse riding.
Anahita offers guests complimentary golf on two Championship courses - the Anahita course designed by Ernie Els and Bernhard Langer's course on the Ile aux Cerfs.
Anahita Golf & Spa Resort has a dive centre that is fully PADI accredited. Situated in the perfect offshore oceanic current, the East coast of Mauritius is one of the richest in corals and fish on the island. The boats accommodate 10 divers per trip and exploration dives are organised daily in conjunction with beginners courses. With a diverse range of water sports, tennis courts and a gym which offers personal trainers, there is plenty of action for everyone. This can also be the perfect relaxing resort, as the children can be entertained whilst parents take it easy at the pool or enjoy a rejuvenating massage.
