This is a perfect short trip for families or couples looking for a combination of activities and relaxation and would make a great introductory trip to Morocco, offering a perceptive insight into both city and country life.
You will begin your journey in Marrakech, where you’ll spend your first 4 nights in this vibrant city. Soak up the bustling atmosphere in the markets, where you can browse the souks, haggling as you go, and explore the old fortress city. We’ve included a histroical tour of the city
Away from the city you’ll find calm oases and even the rocky desert within an hour’s drive should you wish to add a little adventure to your trip with a quad bike or camel ride. Of course, you may wish to simply relax at your hotel, perhaps indulging in some local cuisine or visiting the spa.
After from the buzz of Marrakech, your next stop is the Atlas Mountains, where deep river valleys reach to high peaks offering a calmer, more remote experience to your itinerary. While here, mountain bike through the dramatic scenery, explore the local Berber villages, or set out on foot towards the snow-clad peaks, passing by locals transporting produce by mule down to the local villages to take to market. The cooler temperatures and wide expanses are extremely welcoming after the hustle and bustle of the city offering an enticing combination.

Embark on a tour of Marrakech's winding maze of souks in search of the perfect spices and ingredients. A local expert will help you source the freshest spices in this aromatic treasure hunt, as well as teaching you about traditional cooking methods.
