This Six Senses resort is a spectacular luxurious beach property situated on secluded Ninh Van Bay on the beautiful central Vietnamese coastline. The impressive and dramatic rock formations of the bay overlook the South China Sea and the resort nestles into the hillside above the white sand beach. This is truly a magical place to relax and indulge yourself.
The 55 luxury private pool villas, all built to blend in with the natural environment, are designed either on the beach, over the water or into some of the amazing rock formations - and all come with their own private butler and are elegantly appointed with rustic natural woods and neutral fabrics.
With delicious cuisine served at the poolside, by the bay or on the rocks, you can choose your venue according to your mood. The seafood here is simply divine, with lobster, king prawn and fresh fish caught daily. Meals can also be enjoyed in several private locations around the resort including on the jetty, in your villa or even in the well stocked wine cellar.
The resort has a fantastic Six Senses spa where expertly trained therapists create sensory journeys for guests with a range of holistic wellness and pampering treatments. For the more active there is a wide range of water sports from diving to waterskiing, kayaking to fishing as well as tennis, volleyball and badminton.
There are 58 villas at Six Senses Ninh Van Bay. Hill Top Villas boast spectacular views of the oceans and the mountains from an elevated position on the hillside, Beachfront Villas are constructed entirely from sustainable materials and feature private gardens and separate living and sleeping areas. Water Pool Villas are situated at the very edge of the water with private decking facing the sunset, Rock Pool Villas are scattered among the rock pools at the western end of the bay giving a secluded and private location. The Rock Retreat offers the height of luxury with a water's edge location, multiple plunge pools and rooms set over a number of individual pavilions. All villas have butler service and stunning outdoor plunge pools, mini wine cellar, tea and coffee facilities, safe, hairdryer, phone, minibar, satellite TV, DVD player, iPod and dock, wifi, and en suite bathrooms with double vanities, outdoor showers, and indoor handcrafted wooden bathtubs.
Children are welcome to come and stay at the Six Senses Ninh Van Bay but there are no specific facilities for them except for babysitting and a Kids Hut play room.
There are three restaurants located in various stunning locations around the resort, with an emphasis on fresh delicious food and fabulous service in exemplary settings. The resort can also organize barbecues at your villa or dinner on the jetty, in the wine cave or on a private beach. The bar is a great place to watch the sunset. There is a swimming pool, indulgent Six Senses Spa, PADI dive center, fitness center, tennis court and a library.
Activities at Six Senses Ninh Van Bay include tennis, volleyball, snorkeling, diving, fishing, tennis, non-d and d water sports, boat trips, complimentary yoga and tai chi and cooking classes. Six Senses Ninh Van Bay is situated on the dramatic Ninh Van Bay with its impressive rock formations overlooking the East Vietnam Sea, white sand beach and towering mountains behind. Close to Nha Trang on the east coast of Vietnam, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay is accessible only by water.
When to go
The best time to visit Nha Trang is between March and April, although anytime during the dry season (January to August) is good. The average temperature is 26°C with a high of 32°C in summer (June, July and August), and a low of 21°C in winter (December to February).
Nha Trang is protected by the Truong Son mountains and this costal region of Vietnam is generally sunny all year round, with the exception of the wet season from August to mid-December, when you can expect strong sea breezes and chilly, wet weather.
