Good time to visit

Average time to visit

The only time to avoid Kenya is during the long rainy season in April and May. November is considered the short rainy season, however, these are less predictable and are much lighter. The best time of year to visit the Maasai Mara is during the Great Wildebeest Migration which tends to pass through the Mara between mid July to late October.

Description

Saruni Wild is an exclusive little camp in the heart of Kenya's Maasai Mara. With just 3 tents and set is a secluded valley, rich in wildlife, Saruni Wild offers an authentic and uninterrupted safari experience for small groups and families.

Saruni Wild is the private, 3-tented satellite camp owned and managed from Saruni Safari Camp in Kenya's Masai Mara. The camp is located in a wild and scenic valley rich in wildlife. The location offers privacy ensuring no congestion from other camps.

Saruni Wild is an authentic bush camp, however, guest comfort is not impacted: flush toilets, hot and cold water, large showers, combine with excellent cuisine and open, comfortable Land Rovers for game-viewing.

Elegantly styled, each tent has a large verandah with uninterrupted views over the Yaile mountains of Northern Maasai Mara.

Saruni Wild’s secret valley has a large resident population of elephant, giraffe, zebra, buffalo and impala. Ideal for walking, for birdwatching and for observing wild animals that are still not used to the human presence, the camp will provide visitors with a unique experience: the Maasai Mara off the beaten track.
