Average time to visit

The Mediterranean climate makes Tuscany a year round destination. It is important to remember that the main tourism season stretches from mid-April to the end of September with July and August being peak months. The best time to visit Tuscany is in the quieter part of the season, from April to June and from September to October when weather is usually good, prices lower and there are "fewer" tourists. Many have also discovered the advantages of visiting during the "low season" (winter and early spring) as rates are lower and the reduced number of tourists is visible.

To start planning your holiday to Villa Gabriella

Utterly breath-taking, Villa Gabriella is a large ancient cloistered monastery standing on the rolling hills of Tuscany. Reshaping the concept of exclusivity, the eco-friendly luxury estate brings heritage, contemporary design and Italian craft together.

Villa Gabriella takes you beyond luxury, bringing together the absolute beauty of Tuscan nature and the unrivalled charm of an ancient walled castle.  The restoration has brought together a majestic charm and sheer indulgence through its contemporary Italian design and craftmanship.  Set within 200 acres of stunning countryside with eighty hectares of vineyards, olive groves, forest and grazing land. Love for the earth is the focus around which everything evolves here since centuries and the same philosophy still applies today.

The star of the show in the mesmerising 30m infinity pool, stretching far out into the horizon, suspended above the countryside, with spacious sun decks and day beds to soak up the Tuscan sun.  Along with a spa, jacuzzi, steam room, massage room, cinema room and games room, there is something for everybody to find their slice of paradise. This opulent retreat sleeps up to 16 guests in eight bedrooms and suites, four of them are set over two levels within the towers with private turret roof terraces to soak up the idyllic surrounds. Each suite is a unique experience of design, style and comfort where no detail is left to chance. Vast outdoor spaces, with alfresco dining areas, day beds and roof terraces, all bring the level of peace and relaxation that you yearn for. A place to truly rest, rebalance, recharge and experience the genuine local way of life, taste exceptional wines, meditate, swim, walk, horseback ride and discover unspoiled Medieval villages, woods and beaches.

Villa Gabriella boasts collaborations with some of the greatest contemporary artists in the world: from the sculptures of Matteo Pugliese and Matteo Lucca and the graffiti of Pixel Pancho, to the monumental art of Gustavo Aceves.
