Description
Villa Song Saigon brings old age charm and elegance. This boutique hotel features 23 rooms with views of the magical Saigon River. Enjoy traditional Vietnamese food, make use of the excellent activities nearby and explore the local area by boat.
Villa Song is a gorgeous boutique property located in District Two, the affluent expat district of Ho Chi Minh City, just a short distance from the middle of town. With a wide selection of room types, each differently designed, this hotel is the perfect base for anyone seeking a quieter alternative to the city centre, while still being within 15 minutes of District One via the hotel’s shuttle boat. The spacious rooms all have garden, city or river views, and are light and airy with local art adorning the walls, and elegant colonial style furnishings. Many of the rooms interconnect either directly, or via a private living room, making this a perfect option for families or couples travelling together.
Villa Song is home to the very popular Bistro Song Vie, an all-day dining riverside restaurant serving creative Vietnamese and Asian dishes. The riverside tables are very popular, so we recommend booking those well in advance. There is also the Song Vie Bar, an alfresco bar, perfect for a relaxing evening overlooking the river.
The hotel boasts an inviting salt water swimming pool and a generously sized pool area surrounded by lush greenery and plants. They also have a modern fitness centre and a full spa offering massages and beauty treatments. Other facilities include the complimentary hotel shuttle boat, departing regularly throughout the day to the Cau Mong Pier, just a short walk from the central Opera House and Nguyen Hue Walking Street. There are many great museums, shops and restaurants in Ho Chi Minh, and just a few steps away from the hotel are trendy boutiques and popular restaurants. For a day trip out of the city, we particularly recommend that history lovers take a drive to the Cu Chi tunnels, and for a total change of scenery, a day at the Mekong Delta is always thoroughly enjoyable.
