Description
Set within a contemporary development in the heart of the city, The Reverie Saigon is arguably one of Ho Chi Minh City's most lavish and luxurious hotels with spoiling interiors and spectacular views.
The Reverie is easily one of Vietnam's most extravagant and luxurious hotels that's been crafted out of the finest materials and designed with the highest standards in mind. Mirrors, marble and gold leaf are a common feature throughout the hotel. For some the design could be considered a little ostentatious but if you're looking for high levels of comfort, great service and views over the city The Reverie is the perfect option.
The spacious 62 suites and 224 rooms are spread from the 27th to the 39th floor of the Times Square building, ensuring wonderful views across the city. They feature fine Italian furniture, crisp luxury linens, rain showers and indulgent bathrooms.
The five restaurants and bars include a romantic Italian and The Royal Pavilion, a beautiful and refined fine dining Cantonese; think Peking duck, honey glazed pork and Vietnamese style king prawns. There's also a deli and cafe and an atmospheric bar that stretches across the width of the building. An ideal place for after dinner drinks!
One of the major draws of the hotel is the 1,200 sq meter spa that features 10 treatment rooms. An outdoor pool also offers a fantastic respite from the heat.
We feel that The Reverie is a wonderful option, ideally located for the Notre Dame Cathedral, Reunification Palace and Central Post Office. It's flamboyant but we think the opulence makes it incredibly special and one of the best options in Ho Chi Minh City.
Accommodation
There are 224 rooms and 62 suites spread across several floors. All rooms are incredibly spacious but they vary in terms of size and views. The 167 Deluxe Rooms are breathtakingly beautiful despite being the lead in category. These have king size beds and wonderfully appointed bathrooms. The Grand Deluxe rooms are a little larger with a seating area, however if you want views the Panorama Deluxe rooms are the ones to go for. These have wall to wall windows wrapping the corner of the building. For those wanting more space then the Romance or Junior Suites are larger and that little more opulent. They have good out-connecting options for families.
Deluxe Room | With high ceilings and large windows, experience the spacious 167 Deluxe Twin and Deluxe King Rooms offering from 43 square meters (463 square feet) of beautifully-appointed accommodations. Rooms feature a King Bed or two Double beds, luxury Chopard spa amenities, and city or river view. |
Grande Deluxe Room | The 39 Grand Deluxe Twin and Grand Deluxe King Rooms start from 43 square meters (463 square feet). An inviting seating area features sofa, two leather chairs, and an executive desk with media hub. Like all rooms and suites at The Reverie Saigon, the King bed or twin Double beds are graced with the elegant touch of Frette luxury bed linens. |
Junior Suite | Take your stay to a new level of comfort and design within one of the 18 Junior Suites. At 63 square meters (678 square feet), this beautiful suite offers luxury Hermes spa amenities, double vanities, and a separate foyer with executive desk |
Panorama Deluxe | Wake up to an encompassing view of the city skyline and the Saigon River through wall-to-wall windows wrapping the corner of the building, as presented from one of the 18 Panorama Deluxe King Rooms starting from 52 square meters (570-square-foot). |
Romance Suite | The 13 Reverie Romance Suites are the perfect choice for wedding nights, honeymoons and anniversaries. Grand in design, this suite type presents 68 square meters (732 square feet) through the bedroom, alcove room with television, and an enchanting bathroom adorned with magnificent mosaic floor tiling |

You can't help but be wow'd when you arrive at the Reverie. The marble floors, bright colours & gold leaf coated lobby greets you with a punch! The hotel is bold, opulent & impressive. After the lobby the decor does relax a little and you are quickly taken up to the seventh floor where the reception is located. Here is the main part of the hotel where you have a lovely main restaurant which leads out onto a great outdoor pool area with superb views over the city. The breakfast I had there was fantastic! There's also an impressive spa here which is definitely worth visiting. For me the best thing about the hotel was the rooms. They, out of all of the hotels amenities, were the most understated part but done with a lot of class & sophistication. The rooms start on the 27th floor and go up to 39th. I was lucky to be located on 35th floor but from any of the rooms the views are amazing! You have panoramic views across the city and these views are best enjoyed as you wake up or just before bed. The rooms itself are also big (lead-in starting at 43sqm) and are nicely designed with every mod-con under the sun - they also have a free mini bar which is a nice touch! It's a real wow-factor hotel and definitely worth considering if you are looking for something different!

The Reverie is a fantastic, beautifully flamboyant hotel with so much character. At first I felt that the design was overwhelming but I easily became accustomed to bright colours and interesting design and really enjoyed being wowed with something new at every corner. The restaurants here are also fantastic and so authentic and the pizza that I had here was better than most pizza I have had in Italy itself!
