This river cruise offers guests the chance to pass through some of Cambodia and Vietnam's most beautiful countryside, cities and cultural gems. Set sail and relax on deck as you float past the varying landscapes along the river, watching the local people pass you by as they go about their daily activities.
During this Pandaw expedition you will either start in Saigon or Phnom Penh, depending on which route you would prefer to take and the time you have. Travelling upstream from Saigon to Phnom Penh takes three nights, whilst you must allow four nights for the downstream route. Whatever you decide, the expedition will lead you through the highlights of the Mekong, including Cai Be's colourful floating market, the tribal village of Chau Doc and of course encompassing the cities of Phnom Penh and its poignant history and Saigon with its colonial influences.
Your stay will be comfortable and restful, ensuring you feel at home onboard. Simple yet elegant, the traditionally designed wooden panelled rooms all feature French sliding doors where you can sit out and enjoy the views, en-suite bathrooms and can be made into either twin or double rooms.

Each room on the RV Mekong Pandaw has been cleverly designed to allow both space and privacy whilst you journey along the Mekong Delta. In keeping with the feel and style of all of Pandaw's ships, the rooms have traditional interiors all equipped with the modern conveniences you would expect on a luxury boat.
On board the RV Mekong Pandaw you will find all the modern conveniences to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. With a teak deck measuring 750sqm, you will even find a billiard table to keep you entertained. There is also a gym and spa where you can exercise and unwind with some treatments, or alternatively relax on one of the decks with a refreshing cocktail from the bar. The restaurant provides an array of fine dining options to satisfy your taste buds. Food includes a semi-buffet breakfast, semi-buffet lunch and full sit down dinner in the evening. The menu includes light and lean options and a variety of local flavours and delicacies. For those with a sweet tooth, the sundeck bar can serve up complimentary ice cream from sunrise to sunset.
Spend time socialising and get involved with some of the social activities on offer. These include various special dinners including a welcome dinner and cocktail parties on deck. Try your hand at cooking some local dishes or learn about Vietnamese and Cambodian history and culture through a series of educational talks and cultural performances. Excursions also form part of your stay. Stopping at least once a day, walk through the serene countryside and rural villages, visit floating markets and immerse yourself in the local culture.
Day 1 - Pandaw Cruises (Saigon to Phnom Penh)
Step onboard the RV Mekong Pandaw in Saigon to begin this unique journey down the Mekong River to Phnom Penh. You will take a private transfer from your hotel to the port of My Tho where you will embark.
Day 2 - Pandaw Cruises (Saigon to Phnom Penh)
After your first night aboard the RV Mekong Pandaw, you will spend your second day exploring the beautiful area of Ben Tre, immersing yourself in life on the Mekong Delta.
Day 3 - Pandaw Cruises (Saigon to Phnom Penh)
Day three on the RV Mekong will take you to the bird sanctuary of Gao Giong and Con Phuoc Island.
Day 4 - Pandaw Cruises (Saigon to Phnom Penh)
Today you will say goodbye to Vietnam as you arrive into Cambodia.
