Average time to visit
The best time of year to visit Halong Bay is during the spring or autumn. Because the bay is situated in the northern part of the country, it can get colder in the winter. The rainy season here is at its peak in July to September. July is the hottest month, January the coolest. The dry season runs from November to April.

Description
Bhaya Classic is the original 15- 20 cabin cruise ship of the Bhaya fleet, which is one of the only operators to offer 2-3-night continuous cruises on Halong Bay in the north of Vietnam.

Childcare
Children are welcome on board the Bhaya boats. Babysitters can be arranged with prior notice if parents would like some time out, but please note that this boat cannot offer any interconnecting cabins. The Terrace Suites can accommodate one extra bed for a child under the age of 12.
Facilities
Meals will be served in the restaurant and the menu will regularly change depending on seasonality of ingredients and which of Bhaya’s speciality chefs are on board. The food is mostly locally sourced from Bhaya’s organic farms on Cat Ba island or taken directly from the sea. The Topside Bar serves a range of international wines and spirits, and has a comprehensive cocktail menu for the perfect sundowners.
Activities
Activities may include swimming and snorkelling, kayaking through floating villages, cycling on Cat Ba island and visiting a selection of the more famous caves and karsts in the bays, including Dau Go, Bright and Dark caves. On board activities include a fun evening MasterChef competition, indulging in spa treatments, squid fishing at night with the crew, or simply enjoying a spot of stargazing on the top deck.
