Best time to Visit

Good time to visit

Average time to visit

October to May is the best time to visit these areas of Thailand with generally dry and sunny days that are perfect for exploring and relaxing on the beach. A fantastic time to visit Thailand is during Songkran from 13-15 April when the whole country turns into a big water fight and is great fun for all the family.

Itinerary

Dive into the land of dreams where indulgence is just the tip; opulence, splendour and exclusivity is what you will find throughout this Thai adventure. Personally curated at every turn, taking you on rare finds with exclusive insights with the knowledge of our expert guides. Be dazzled by the buzz of Bangkok, immerse in the immense landscape and nature of the North, before jetting off to ultra-exclusive luxury on the remote private island of Koh Kood, seduction at its best.

  1. Days 1-3: Bangkok

Plunge straight into the buzz and colourful chaos that is Bangkok. Your private driver will whisk you through the city to what we consider to be the most luxurious property in the capital, the Peninsula Bangkok, attractively located on the bank of the Chao Phraya river, a haven for you to retreat after your days of adventure. Here you can stay for two nights, taking in all the sights and sounds of this metropolis, dining at the very best restaurants, exploring the sprawling night markets and soaking up the culture that engulfs you. Your expert private guide will show you around two of the most iconic sites, the Grand Palace, former home to the Thai Royal Family, and Wat Pho which houses the famous reclining Buddha.

Wander the Floating Market at Khlong Lat Mayom, taking in the lively atmosphere, bright colours and enticing smells, sampling delicious local dishes, as well as taking to the water by boat along the canals to visit a local temple and orchid farm.

    Accommodation: Peninsula Bangkok (2 nights)

  2. Days 3-6: Chiang Mai

Next lose yourself in the spell binding beauty of Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand.  Submerge in the abundant rural beauty, spot monkeys and experience the hill tribe way of life.  Explore the spiritual side of this region, visiting some of Chiang Mai's most sacred sites. Witness the daily alms giving for the monks, take in the views from Wat Doi Suthep and venture into the mysterious tunnels beneath Wat Umong.  Whilst here you will enjoy a private half day tour of the most famous temples in Chiang Mai, as well as a day of adventure in Doi Inthanon National Park where you will have the opportunity to meet local hilltribes and try to spot some local wildlife.

In the early evening, wander out for dinner in town and be sure to stop off and visit Chiang Mai’s famous night market. Staying at the Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai, with its prestigious Four Seasons service and a truly idyllic location, you will experience the opulence you yearn for.

Accommodation: Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai (3 nights)

  3. Days 6-8: Golden Triangle

Discover the legendary Golden Triangle up in the north of Thailand, at the fantastically luxurious Four Seasons Tented Camp, stunningly located overlooking the Mekong River.  Usually accessed by river boat, and set amidst Thailand’s exotic bamboo jungles, there is a spectacular and unique experience awaiting the more active at this safari-style camp but with all the Four Seasons luxury.

A range of wonderful activities are included in your stay, trekking alongside an elephant and spending half a day training to be a mahout (humane elephant handler), or you could trek in the jungle with an expert guide, or even just relax and enjoy a spa treatment before a wine and cheese tasting in the Wine Cellar.  A stay here is an experience not to be forgotten.

Accommodation: Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle (2 nights)

  4. Days 8-12: East coast beaches and islands

After the cultural treasures of the north, the next part of your adventure awaits. The Soneva Kiri resort is situated on the small private paradise island of Koh Kood, reached by private jet followed by a James Bond style speedboat where next level luxury is waiting for you.  Completely unique from all other hotels in Thailand, Soneva pushes the limits in the luxury scene, each villa is provided with a golf buggy to zip around in and your personal butler known as Friday will make sure you are well taken care off.

The cuisine is another experience in itself, menus created by a Three Michelin Star chef , with an unforgettable treetop dining experience or a private cooking class with a master chef, you can be sure that the settings will be as memorable and exceptional as the food itself.  Endulge in the Six Senses spa knowing that your children are in five-star care at the out of this world Eco Den that appears to hang over the forest canopy.  Surrounded by untouched rainforests, jaw-dropping vistas and stunning beaches with unparalleled levels of service and cutting-edge eco-concepts, Soneva has been developed that you will never want to leave.

    Accommodation: Soneva Kiri (4 nights)
