Coot Club
Situated between the Maanschynkop Nature Reserve and the Walker Bay Nature Reserve , Coot Club looks over the Klein River Lagoon an important estuary, rich in bird life and endemic plant diversity. A simple, uncomplicated retreat with style.
Highlights
Coot Club offers a unique property where families have the idyllic place to reconnect in a pristine area of natural beauty. The aim of guests visiting here is to ease up and slow down. The Clubhouse has been sympathetically restored and dates back to 1892 and provides the meeting point of Coot Club. Originally designated as a manor house with English-Georgian characteristics with deep set window and an arched Palladian entry. There is a bar, restaurant and a games room which is located on the top floor of the Clubhouse (and provides the perfect spot for teens to enjoy a game of table tennis or football while a tepee, toy car track and large dolls house are ideal for younger kids). Comfortable couches are ready for kids to sink into and a variety of books and games are also available.
