Your itinerary starts with two nights in Kathmandu. Your private guide will take you through the city’s intricate maze of narrow streets, where you can soak up the Nepalese way of life and browse the colourful local markets. As well as sampling some delicious Nepalese thalis, visit the Durbar Squares of Kathmandu and Patan, the mediaeval town of Bhaktapur, and the Hindu temple at Pashupatinath.

After a short internal flight to Pokhara, you will meet with your guides and porters and start your trek into the Annapurna range.
Your walk is on a private basis, with a personal guide and sherpa who will carry all your belongings from lodge to lodge - you can walk at your own pace, and if you feel like you want to tag on a few more nights, we can adapt the itinerary to meet your specific requirements. On your first day you will have a couple of hours walking to ease you into the trek as you venture through the lower foothills of the Annapurna’s. You will arrive at your lodge in the early afternoon and we suggest either taking a walk to the village of Birethanti or exploring the surrounding river valley.Where to stay

The trek today will pass through the unspoilt and ancient villages of Patlekhet, Dhampus and Pothana. You’ll have the chance to really experience local Nepalese life today and in the village of Pothana there may be the opportunity to meet with local Tibetan traders and pick up a souvenir or two! The scenery and topography also sets its self apart with sub-tropical forests which are full of tree orchids, rhododendrons and magnolias. After completing the trek you will descend down to the valley where you will meet your driver who will transfer you the short distance into Pokhara. We normally recommend that you have a couple of days to take in the city yourself with its multitude of outdoor activities that can be explored. Nepal has a Monsoonal climate with four main seasons. Autumn and spring are the two most favourable seasons for visiting Nepal. Autumn (September to early December) brings in clear weather with sunny days and warm nights. Spring (March to May) with occasional rain falls. From June to September, is the monsoon season. Uncomfortable time to visit as the climate of Nepal at this time of year brings about hot weather and rain falls almost every day.
