Average time to visit

Nepal has a Monsoonal climate with four main seasons. Autumn and spring are the two most favourable seasons for visiting Nepal. Autumn (September to early December) brings in clear weather with sunny days and warm nights. Spring (March to May) with occasional rain falls. From June to September, is the monsoon season. Uncomfortable time to visit as the climate of Nepal at this time of year brings about hot weather and rain falls almost every day.

Nepal offers the most dramatic Himalayan views and is full of culture, stunning architecture and fantastic wildlife. This epic itinerary takes you through the highlights including the culture of Kathmandu, peaks of the Annapurna range and exotic wildlife in Chitwan National Park.

You will start your adventure in Katmandu, full of culture, history and an incredible lineage of artistry. The city has a buzzing energy which at times can feel overwhelming but your guide will be at your side making sure that you see the best side of the city. During your three nights here take the opportunity to explore Kathmandu Durbar Square & Patan Durbar Square which hold beautiful examples of traditional Nepalese architecture. For those that are interested in Buddhism we highly suggest a visit to Swayambhunath and Boudhanath Stupa, some of the most revered sites in Kathamandu.

    Accommodation: Dwarika's (3 nights)

  2. Days 4-6: Pokhara

From Kathmandu take a short internal flight to Pokhara where you will have a couple days of relaxing, spending time enjoying the beauty of the city surrounded by the spectacular Annapurna range, before setting off on your trek.

Accommodation: Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge (2 nights)

Throughout your trek you will have the full support of a private guide and porter who care for your every need. The walking pace can be as slow or fast as you like and there are only a few mildly challenging ascents.

The first half of the adventure centres around Ghandruk which offers spectacular views of the Annapurna range. Ghandruk is famous as the major recruitment centre for British Gurkhas and if you are looking for that picture-perfect Himalayan village under vast towering mountains then a visit to Ghandruk is a must. Two nights here gives you the opportunity to explore the area further or simply relax in the beautiful surroundings.

    Accommodation: Himalaya Lodge (2 nights)

  4. Days 8-9: Annapurna Region
