You will also head to Pokhara, a stunning lake side town and the gateway to some incredible hiking in the Annapurna region.

  1. Fly to Kathmandu

  2. Days 1-4: Kathmandu

Arrive into Kathmandu where the smell of spices, the cacophony of noises and the array of colours will assault the senses. Here you will spend the next couple of days exploring the temples, stupas and gates of the capital from the beautiful oasis of the Inn at Patan, a stones throw from Patan’s Durbar Square. Enjoy private tours to Boudhanath, Swayambunath and Pashupatinath, before a day trip to Bhaktapur, also known as the city of temples, where you will get lost in endless places of worship of every shape and size. On your return why not stop at one of Nepal’s endless breath-taking panoramic viewpoints for a sunset chai.

Accommodation: The Inn Patan (3 nights)

  3. Days 4-7: Bardia National Park

Fly alongside the Himalayas to Nepalgunj, then drive the short distance to Bardia National Park for four days of safari activities in the jungle, river and grassland. You will be whisked off for game drives, drift along rivers and enjoy long evenings in your charming Tiger Tops Karnali lodge after adrenalin filled days of tracking the illusive Nepalese animals that call this national park home. You will also have a chance to visit the elephant stables and embark on walking safaris with some of the best guides in Nepal.

Accommodation: Tiger Tops Karnali Lodge (3 nights)

  4. Days 7-9: Pokhara

Today fly to Pokhara via Kathmandu, this idyllic lake side town boasts stunning views of the snow-capped mountains, a beautiful peace pagoda to hike up to and bobbing boats for you to row to one of the lake’s island temples. You will be based at the beautiful Tiger Mountain Lodge, adding in a nice change of pace between your two wildlife experiences. Wake up to spectacular views of Machhapuchhare and the surrounding Annapurna range and venture out for walks at your leisure around the local villages and farmland.

Accommodation: Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge (2 nights)

  5. Days 9-12: Chitwan National Park
