Nordic climate - May, June and July are the driest months of the year. Mid-June to August is high season, but most highland tours don’t operate until July because of snow. At other times, many tourist facilities outside Reykjavík are closed. From September through March, the night is dark enough to see the Aurora Borealis.

Day 1 - Reykjavik & the Blue Lagoon
Touch down in Iceland and ease straight into the adventure. From Reykjavik, head to the Blue Lagoon where milky-blue waters and warm silica-rich pools help everyone relax after the flight, parents can unwind while children marvel at the steamy surroundings. Later, settle into Hotel Alda, perfectly placed on one of the city’s most characterful streets. This evening is yours to enjoy Reykjavik’s easygoing food scene, with family-friendly restaurants and a lively yet relaxed atmosphere that makes the capital feel welcoming from the start.Day 2 - Mountains, Wildlife & Open Seas
Today blends high-energy fun with unforgettable wildlife encounters. After expert instruction, climb aboard quad bikes and power through the rugged hills surrounding Reykjavik, reaching the summit of Hafrafell for wide-open views that feel wonderfully wild. This afternoon slows the pace as you head out into Faxaflói Bay, one of the world’s best whale-watching areas.
