Spread across four floors, the spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area is on the top floor, with majestic floor-to-ceiling windows and breathtaking views of Saulire and Mont Vallon. The feature fireplace, plush sofas and smart dining zone, create an inviting and welcoming space, with glass doors to the balcony where guests can take in the fresh mountain air and enjoy a spot of star gazing after dinner.
There are 6 well-appointed ensuite bedrooms, three with private balconies, which comfortably sleep up to 12 guests. While the amenities at the chalet are excellent, with a games room, ski room, sauna and counter-flow indoor pool. Whether guests are looking to socialise, soothe away any tired muscles, relax over a delicious evening meal, play some competitive snooker or spend some quiet time by the fire admiring the fabulous views, Chalet Elegie can accommodate all moods.
For every stay, there’s an excellent and efficient concierge service, along with a chalet host for daily housekeeping and private chef. A cooked breakfast, afternoon tea, pre-dinner drinks and canapés, and a three-course gourmet dinner with paired wines, is available five days a week. A Continental breakfast is available two mornings a week and on the staff’s night off, guests can choose to self-cater or head into Meribel to choose from the resort’s superb dining options.
Chalet Elegie is in the heart of Meribel in the Dou du Pont district, 300m from the resort centre, 500m from the slopes and 800m from the nearest lifts, Legends. Ideal for families, the children’s ski schools are nearby at La Chaudanne. For added convenience, there is a driver service available from 8am to midnight every day. Chambery Airport is a 1.5-hr drive, while Grenoble, Geneva and Lyon are 2-hrs away.
